The Blog’s Back — Here’s What’s Changing (and Why It Matters)

I’ve decided it’s time to bring my blog back to life — right here on my main website.
For a while, I’d been publishing more on Substack, mostly sharing thoughts on photography, creativity, and the behind-the-scenes of my work. I love substack but the fact is it's not the main platform where my clients are going to find me, and just like instagram or X, it's not uniquely mine.

After talking with clients — especially boutiques, salons, and emerging fashion or beauty brands — I realized something: there’s a real need for more practical, client-focused content that lives right where people are already looking for me.
So here we are.

I’m based in Eugene, Oregon, and I regularly work with clients across Portland, Salem, Bend, and up into Seattle. This blog is where I’ll be sharing updates on my own work, and the kind of info that helps you plan better shoots, make smarter content decisions, and grow your brand through strong visual storytelling.

Whether you're running a boutique, managing a salon, creating content for a cosmetics or skincare line, or trying to level up as an independent model, this space is built to support you.
I will continue to post on Substack as well, and that content will be shifting more towards a journal about my general creative processes and thoughts on creativity, the industry, and other related topics. Follow me wherever the content aligns with your interests - or, take my completely unbiased suggestion and follow me everywhere!
This blog is going to feature a lot of content aimed at helping Pacific Northwest based style-oriented businesses thrive through elevated imagery, because simply put, that's what I do. Stay tuned for regular articles and content to help your boutique, barbershop, salon, or emerging fashion and beauty brand level up.
